Got this wagon for £50 last october on the 3rd...MOT'd it on the 9th(without spendin a penny on it)...an it brought my bro an i to 3rd in our class on the 12th at the newry navigation rally!! Wasn't without a bit of damage tho...apart from the handbrake traveling a further inch.Cows on the road put a dent in the passenger door when we wer goin past an my bro overshot the last junction an dropped a wheel into a ditch...car went up on two wheels!pulled the tie rod almost completly out of the front of the car and put quite a dent in the sill! Was marshalling at the down rally in november so took the nova.Had a bit o fun in between stages! Then i rolled it a month later the weekend before our next rally!Got a peice of perspex for the windscreen an got the bodywork fixed up.Was up til after 2 on the thursday nite workin at it.Then it conked out on us 12 mile from home on the way to the rally...dirt in the carb. Got a proper windscreen for it in cork on the 5th for 20euro so gonna try to get that into it soon.
Whats the right offer, are you playing hard to get.lol. I have an 89 model too, reg CBZ9032. Would buy another one if the shell was good so that i could build a track car. Let me know sure what you want to do, cheers
Woohoo!! Just got a windscreen into it.Back in business now. I think i'll hold on to her for another while anyway but i'l let you know if the time comes im gettin rid of it.Might put a roll cage in it next.Theres one nearby for sale an im very tempted.Maybe monday!!

Started a navigation rally in the car on friday night..got 8 miles and suddenly lost all drive at a t-junction...the driveshaft had pulled out!!Got it knocked back in enuf to drive so brought it home and returned in my bro's gsi astra.eventually finished after running out of petrol in that...no surprise that we came last then!!!lol
The first time i was drivin a nova was at my mates grandas orchard when i was 15.Brilliant craic rallyin about the gravel lanes.Just sent an entry in for the next navigation rally on the 19th.It s based in loughgall.
Its just for navigation rallying so we'll likely stick with the engine thats in it.have a 1.2 at the house but will hardly bother changin to that.the mot is up on the 8th and i doubt if it'll pass again.Headin now to do some work on it...sort out the brakes an fit new spotlights for a start.

Would an anti roll bar make much differance to a nova like mine...apart from holdin it together a bit more...the problem is that there is only about 5mm clearance between it an the oil filter when its on.
Thanks.Goin to leave the anti-roll bar off...tis a bit risky havin it so close to the oil filter, not worth the risk.It'll likely fit the 1.2 if we get it on the road.
